Thanks!

i will do as soon as i get them, but i'm not a specialist....so i think best is to also other versions.

But i'm quite surprised about the soundstage you're talking about. The v1 was for me quite big....even after having a shure530x8 which was huge!

Well~~just for sharing sake, doesnt matter whether u are specialist or not
But did u get the very first version? Before the p/s ver.
And about the soundstage, it got more expansive after a bit more run in, but its not a really huge like, and i am still pretty excited about the return of the pro330v2 up til now, an unique audio experience unlike anything i had or demo

Yes, I actually had one of the very first 330 on the market, before the two different s and p versions. I did some little try of a review in the dedicated custom art audio thread, I think on page 16or sth....I'll look for it.

Just for the clarification - yours were "S". "S" was the original tuning of first Pro330

Quote from the EM32 thread

Hi Krismarzyk,

I have both and and I can, with difficulties, say that the EM32 are technically better than the pro330 but really near in terms of note weight, details and musicality. Nevertheless in terms of tones the EM32 is a bit more realistic on voices, bass drums and cymbals, eg,  due to a better extension and transparency.

But the note weight is very similar. The attack and decay of the EM32 is a bit slower than what the pro330 know to do and in the same time both can offer almost the same level of details but the EM32 have a better sense of details and resolution because of his transparency. With both you seem to hear a speaker but the difference is that the EM32 are the speaker and the pro330 sit you in front of the speaker.

The sound signature is different as the pro330 are more focused on high mids versus the EM32 that are more focused on bass mids/sub bass. Both have liquid treble and smooth mids that are absolutely not sibilant, that's why I love them both at the same level : they are complementing each other. Both are bass capable and offer an organic restitution that can rumble when bass are called for it. In terms of quantity the EM32 offer more sub bass, the pro330 more high mids.

The sense of transparency on both is top class, but the EM32 are more clear, less veiled, and bring more resolution on timbres. But both have the same philosophy of sound, they tune their CIEM in the same way of naturalness with a different touch on the sound signature.

Regarding to the soundstage the pro330 are more in the head, less width and deep but their deepness is just well done and airy. The EM32 is a bit more realistic in terms of instruments position.

As I say above, the musicality, the restitution of harmonics impressed me on both. Piotr and Franck have tuned their CIEM with golden hands and ears, they know how sound an instrument and where on the graph.

To my mind the EM32 are a good bang for the buck CIEM, but the pro330 even more. I can explain myself why I pay 300€ more for the EM32, but imo pro330 have to cost 800€ instead of 575€.

I just got my 330v2 after an upgrade from v1. And all i can say until now: Piotr, you're an artist!

These things go much much deeper fit wise  in comparison to the v1 i had (my molds were to small), and it's a whole new experience....isolation is extremely good.
It's a beautiful shell, i can't stop looking at it.
Soundwise, i need some time, can't do some listening right now....but will get back to let you know.

Anyway, Piotr ,THANK YOU !! I can't say it enough.
dziękuje bardzo!

just a few points sound wise for the moment in comparison to the v1:

overall a GREAT sound, yet smooth but not losing detail. Spacing and separation are very good , maybe a bit less than the v1, and little bit less of forward midrange to my ears, but still a very nice presence of voices. Very nice depths in my taste!

I'd love to try it with some other high end players, unfortunately i don't have any but my old ipod.
I'm incapable to say if i need an amp.....weird....i was thinking of getting an head stage arrow 4G maybe.....

God i love this CIEMS!

back to listening !!

ah yeah, and thats where i say:  guys, when you make your impressions, look for a GOOD audiologist, there are worlds between the results.....i know you know...just saying!

Piotr, where do i sign for the Harmony?
