clieos, you mentioned the C60 about not having expansion memory slot. but when i browsed in ownta's website i found the C60 and in the specification it says "C60 player is compatible with FLAC and APE lossless playback and has memory card expansion." link: http://www.ownta.com/cube-and-bee-c60-hifi-mp3-player-4gb.html

so, did the company upgrade the C60 on last minute or what?

This must be a mistake. Could not find it on the C60 official website: http://www.51cube.com/pro_x.asp?id=627

Also my shop of trust says, that it has no: http://www.houseofdap.com/cube-c60-hifi-bbe-sound-mp3-player-4gb.html

Raz @ MP4Nation saw the prototype and said it doesn't have a SD card slot, that's as good a confirmation as it can get. I haven't really see anything else that indicates other wise. My personal guess is Ownta was being lazy so they copied the description from C30 and forget to delete some of the words.

Not sure about bad build quality, but bad firmware is almost guaranteed. It usually takes at least half a year for Cube to get the firmware right on their DAP. That's why I didn't even bother to pick up a C60 now. They also tends to lower the price after the first few months, which of course is a bonus.
