About this issue.i thought that using piccollino's as an lod would be a great cable because about what i heard the piccollinos are excellent detail cable ( which i like) but when i ask a local audio guru in my country he says that its an overkill since its plugged to iPod.any opinion about this?

overkill?! - nonsense. it's overkill for your wallet, that is. otherwise - no.

Not familiar with the Piccolino, but I use my custom built LOD everyday to connect
iPod to amp.  Certainly worthwhile.  My understanding is that primary benefit is to 
bypass the amp circuit in your iPod, replacing it with your (better quality) amp.
 
Of course you're still relying on the iPod DAC so there is still room for improvement
in your portable set up.  There is no end of ways to spend money, sigh.

LOD are centainly not overkill if you're pairing them with an amp, better than using the headphone out
i would say cable type depends on how much you're willing to spend
