Is it cheaper just to buy a mini to mini and use the ZVM line out that comes with tha Zen?
EDIT:WOw I didn't know there was this option with the Zen. I'm not upgrading for some time.
A completely unrelated question: Does the Headamp Pico w/ DAC have an input other than USB?

You can get a LOD cable from Qables.com*»*WHAT'S NEW too. I use one with my ZVM, and then output to either a PA2V2 or a custom-built cMoy in a black tin with a smiling magic mushroom on it from biosciencegeek on eBay. Using the LOD really improves the SQ.
