Quoting someone in another forum:

"This latest Cowon X7 DAP/PMP is superb. The X7 will also activity a RSS reader. The PMP too has TV-out ability and has a web browser. Other features contain a radio tuner, Bluetooth, video playback with DivX support. There is no declare of WiFi formally in fact, but a browser without WiFi creates little logic. It comes in various colors such as black, white."

Anybody can confirm or refute this claim? Anybody bought it yet?

Pass....I wouldn't want a device with that low resolution - what's the point in making it that big if not to watch video on it?

There's no wifi or browser. Check the specs on Cowon Global

And here's that thread I was hoping my bro would post on ABI:
COWON X7...this was supposed to be an unboxing and happy times
- I'd suggest staying away from a Cowon X7 if your a MAC OS user.

Having just read that, it really does look poor... shame, as Cowon can make excellent players such as my E2.

Thanks to everyone who's posted their thoughts, the pros and the cons.
It's really helped me decide. =]

I had just an 8GB iPod nano about 2 years ago, it got stolen unfortunately(don't tell my parents =P), so I've been on the lookout for a new music player.
I used my LG Keybo for a while, and it worked pretty well. Keybo 2 is a lot slower though and doesn't work as well.
I recently won a contest I randomly entered, and got a 2GB iPod shuffle, which works well, but it incredibly small.

I took a look at the Zune HD, and I don't honestly see the appeal of having wireless internet on my music player. Took a look at the Archos 43, again, didn't really appeal to me.
As a separate, I think the iTouch and iPod series are great, but they've lost their shininess. After having to deal with the "Geniuses" at the Apple store, I've lost complete faith in an iProducts.
If the iPhone 4 were to include a Qwerty keyboard(I've seen either a photoshos or the real deal, I have no idea http://twitpic.com/380uif ), I might think about it, but yeah. They're lacking now.
That's why I've been looking into other music players.

Someone came into the store I work and bought an Cowon S9, and I decided to take a look at the website. I've been reading forums, reviews.
I want the Cowon X7 SO bad now! I enjoy bigger players/phones(the Droid is huge, and I love it), so this is perfectly fine with me.

I'm gonna order one right after Christmas. ♥

So you don't want ZHD because it has an wifi (how a presence of some feature could be a disadvantage?), you don't want iPhone because it doesn't have a keyboard, and you're purchasing X7 without wifi and keyboard? I don't get the point; it seems from your post that you don't know what you want.

How did you come to this conclusion? Unless you don't speak any English, I made it very clear.

I have absolutely no interest in something that isn't just for music.
I have no interest in a phone or music player that has added things like wifi, apps, and all that. The iPhone, iTouch, ZuneHD, and Archos 43 all have that. I don't need it, so there's no point spending the money on something that does have it, when I can buy something that has none of it, and just the music, which(again) is what I want.

I want something focused on just music, nothing added. I also want like, 160GB for my music :/ Which this has.

Does this clear things up for you? Or do I need to say it in even plainer English?
