We still haven't tested the battery life in real life. Maybe Cowon is saying it's battery life is on the ACTUAL battery life, and not the 40 hours doing nothing but playing music on the lowest volume level.

Well I'm saying is that sometimes when WE (real people) test the battery life, it could be better then what cowon says

I think you're trying to get your hopes up a bit too much for that battery. Companies want your money. They are going to do everything they can to make their product sound its best in order to convince you to give them your money. When was the last time you heard of a company providing non-exaggerated, non-absolute-best-case battery life claims?

Thats kinda true, I've seen some real life battery tests come out almost double of what they were advertised. Not ipod, zune or cowon, but my sansa came out with 5 more hours.
 
Either way, 21 hours is still good battery life compared to a touch with newest firmare that people say AT THE MOST 20 hours

I never really care about battery life....
But regarding the price of 380 Dollars, it does make me ponder a bit.

J3, S9, this is real life that would be listening, changing songs and options. 
 
The price is a bit much, but I'm waiting for a good review to ask if it's worth it
