Hey all,
I have a Fiio E10 to amp my cans and I was wondering if it is right to use 100% volume in Winamp, 100% volume on CPU, and then adjust the volume on the E10? Will the quality be as pristine as possible with 100% volume on CPU, or should I set it to 75% or so...

I'm still relatively new to all this and it's confusing me. Since the E10 bypasses my audio card, I don't know why I can still control the volume with my CPU volume.

I'm all ears for any lessons or knowledge you people have, thanks!

You should be fine running your PC volume levels at 100% while controlling the volume via the amp.  If you notice distortion you may want to turn down the PC volume levels to 75% - 85%, but keeping the volume levels higher will prevent the amp from clipping early.  Clipping is when the amp tried to produce more gain ( volume knob up ) but physically cannot and this the signal becomes clipped.
