i really like the sound of my cx300's, but i cant really use them for anything other than sitting and listening, if i work out with them, or if i run or anything else with them i get lots of cord noise. i can hear every little thing the cord bumps against, and it really disrupts my listening, has anyone else had this problem? did i just get a bad pair? if this is a common problem what should i do? is there a fix of any kind? should i just grab a pair of ksc75's for working out?

That's just microphonics. Any IEM will do that. The best way to lessen it is to loop the cord behind your ears, that will help a lot, but I believe the CX300s are J-cord, so that may be a little more difficult. Also, running the cable under your shirt will help, as well as using a cable clip. Basically keep the cord in contact with something, don't let it move around. That or go for the KSC-75s, it shouldn't be as noticeable then.
