What? I was simply reccomending good looking headphones, not headphones that sound good, because that is what he asked. I more than realize that skullcandys suck and bose is overpriced for what it is.

Bose Triports are hella sexy. They're sexy enough to be a popular paperweight!

Personally I find the AKG K701 very attractive. I really like the white/titanium retro contemporary look. Pair it with a white iPod and its a match made in heaven.

i vote the ATH W5000 and ATH ES7 for best looker (in current production). nothing says sensuality more than W5K woodie and the ES7 defines blingbling!
but of course, i mite be just a tad prejudiced. i own 1 and have the other coming in shortly

Pioneer Monitor 10R.
Or the earlier unobtainium SE-1000 electrostats, which look roughly similar.

In OP's defence, it's nice to have a thread where the recommendation is something different from the seven or eight headphones that get recommended in most other threads on this board. From some of the responses, you'd honestly have thought that the guy had come to your home and urinated on your carpet.

If memory serves,.....yeah, right!....if memory serves, I believe it was one of those "Grado Situations" of running out of one component and substituting something else till the original part becomes available. Usually they go with a better part for the temporary replacement. Like when they used MS-Pro, RS1/2 headbands on SR-325/MS2 for a batch. These screens on the MS2i pictured look like MS-Pro screens.

Don't know if it's my engineering training, but the Sennheiser HD580 Jubilee with CARBON FIBER headbands are to me the coolest looking headphones BY FAR.
