I want to have a 2.1 setup for my desk and the outputs of the Magni 3 is rca so could I hook the rca cables from the Magni 3 to the back of the sub and use the speaker outs to go to the satellite speakers? The reason I would want to do it this way(instead of using a y-splitter)is because I want to use the crossover built in on the sub.

If the sub has low level/line input+output you can hook them up that way.

If the sub only has low level input and then has high level input+output then it won't work.
