I'd get a pair of Audioengine A2's, they blow any Logitechs out of the water, they have built in amplifiers so you don't have to worry about buying an amp, these things have a 0.05% distortion rate, Logitechs have 5-10%.

The price is pretty steep however $200, but you can find refurb/used ones on eBay for around $150.

And for the others you mentioned, I'm looking at an internal sound card, right? My computer is actually case modded, I may move it out of that at some point, but for now it is. Space is tighter, I don't know if I have room for an internal one...
