I have come to the realization that computer audio IS the future of audio.  When was your first realization that computer based audio was "where it's at"?   Was it the singular interface, a new sound card, or something else?

Many years ago when I first became aware of FLAC. Some time back in 2002-2003 I think...

When I realized  my collection was becoming quite large and that everything, particularly my cassettes and LPs, needed  baking up.  I got a couple of external hard drives, began comverting everything to Flac and realized how much easier it was to access the files compared to the originals.
