I'm not sure whether the e17 can be used like the e18 as its not advertised as a DAC for portable devices, but with enough searching you might be able to find someone who has tried it out.

Well, I'm the one that ClieOS quoted. I have an iPhone 5S, for the record.

The E18 works just fine with the USB cable. You have to have a camera connection kit though. It looks like this:




You put the USB cable into that adapter cable.

Does the e18 drain your iPhone battery a bit faster cause mine does??
