Hi guys

Im still contemplating whether or not to splurge on the ER4's or not.

I currently use a Sony MZ- N1

And i would prefer to use it without an amp on the go.
I currently hae the EX70's and they seem very quiet. Are the ety's any e3asier to drive ??

The ex70lp ant that easy to drive and sound very dark. The er4p are very easy to drive and sound very clear in your head type of sound. If you can live with the er4p that it is a great choice. I could not and sent them back but I am one of the few who didnot like them. Most members hail them and think that the er4p are great cans and I don't disagree with this . They just were not for me but you might like them very much. Headroom will give you a 30 day trial so go for it. One thing is for sure. They sound way better than the ex70lp and are easer to drive.

I have both those headphones and a sony net md mini disc player
I agree with LTUCCI1924
I would not even bother using the sony buds . Its like comparing a corvette to a toyota corolla. Try listenig with the ety's for a very short time , it will be no contest.

He's asking about volume, not sound quality

I have the same question too. My guess is that the 4P are louder than the EX70 while the 4S are quieter?
