Since entering the MOT community, I've tried on NUMEROUS headphones, and tbh, never found a headphone that is as comfortable as my Skullcandy Aviators. Anyone know of some spectacularly comfortable headphones? ATH-M50's, Beyer DT770, AKG K601, and Dennon D2000 all have sore spots and give me a headache after a bit of use. Bose AE1's were decent but the sound is kinda crappy for the price.

Thanks!

I found the Sennheiser HD595s and 650s to be incredibly confortable for less than 500.

Audio Technica A2000X is the most comfortable headphone I have ever put on my head.

Its superlight titanium housing and magnesium frame made it possible that the entire headphone only weighs 298g.

The padding is extremely soft and the clamp is not tight.

I, too, am looking for a pair of great sounding comfortable headphones. It seems that every pair I have become uncomfortable to downright painful after a short time. I tried on the Bose AE2i's and they seem to be exactly what I am looking for. The fit over the ear without actually touching the ear and weigh only 140g. Unfortunately, the reviews of the sound quality are not so great.  So, are there any other decent headphones that are light weight, comfortable,  and sub $200??
I should note, that I will primarily use them to listen to music and podcasts on an Iphone/nano and watch videos/movies on my iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most comfy for me were the hd598's. A close second were the Beyer dt990 premium (less clamp than the pro).

HD800's are probably the most comfortable phone ive tried, although im not a huge fan of their overall sound. D7000 is also very comfortable.

LCD2/LCD3 drive me crazy as I find they uncomfortable, although I do like the sound signature. I do realise these are all fairly expensive, so perhaps it isn't much help to you.

The Sennheiser Audiophile line (518, 558, 598, 650) are absolutely without a doubt the most comfortable headphones money can buy.  Very light clamp, the velour is nice and soft, incredibly non-ear fatiguing, they just kind of sit softly and indiscreetly on your ears.

But I also find the HD280Pros quite comfortable.
