I'm looking forward to this comparison too! There's hardly anything about the C200 out there, not in English at least.
In fact, I'm (still) looking for anything that could be a reasonable successor to my C3 in terms of sound.
OK i will soon enough as soon as i find time to open the parcel first...
There is a Twister6 review on C200 check that out too....it was that review and recommendations from twister6 that persuaded me to go on and buy C200....It is supposed to be reference sound and mid-frequency focused dap bright but not cold or analytical sounding...i ll post something soon enough:stuck_out_tongue:

Just for your peace of mind, I had used Wall Chargers from Samsung, Apples and Sony without issues.

I think we need a Mr. Moneybags to take this challenge on. ;)

I think you may be right, the cable is heavily strong with a transformer I believe connected to it. This is quite the "little" player if it needs that kind of cable. I'll probably never see one as strong for such an affordable device.

I wish people would stop buying Benjie's and start buying C3's. ;)

Has anyone listened to WAVs on this yet? Apparently, it can do 24k?

Most of my music library on C3 are 16 bit flac. I don't even have 24 bit wavs because cds are 16 bit and that's where most of my C3s music come from. I don't have huge belief on high resolution music, cd format seems very adequate, for me at least.

I ll let you know later in the evening...i think though that you have to decode a WAV to 16bit from 24 bit ... in order to be compatible with C3,,,I ll try again in the afternoon though and let you know...I use anyway dBPoweramp file converter to convert files and change the bit rate so i cant remember right now if my WAV files in C3 are at 16 or 24 Bits right now i ll check and tell...

I sure will do so man...after having C200 charged download the official firmware from COLORFLY site and load some tracks on C200..
It is though a big step in cost... from C3 to C200(200$) and there is one review at least from twisted6 on head fi till now...BUT have figured out(before making out my mind and buy C200...) that C200 is a seriously underestimated brilliant dap(this mainly due to retro design and UI functionality issues) and using ES9018 High Res dac-chip there is an accomplishment from COLORFLY. ..
I ll post here during the week my initial thoughts regarding C3 and C200 comparison and let you know there...
Allready a big accomplishment for COLORFLY to release an affordable dap as C3 with such a great sound though...
Thats why i am waiting many more from C200 here...
Lastly i have to repeat for one more time for anyone out there... that X1,X3ii or even X5ii (which i have also heard) cannot compete with C3's sound aesthetics at all....C3 = concert hall experience. ..:sunglasses:

my new AGPtek H1 has defo superseded my C3 in the SQ dept. however I may have some extra spending money next month and my intention is to purchase a C200, seem to be quite cheap in UK at the mo, around £130

I was trying to figure out myself how many bit CD's are, thanks for clarifying. It's good that digital music exists if they can release 24 bit, etc. Until "dollar CD's" run out at my local record store, I won't be spending $20 to purchase a digital 24-bit album online. Especially since I prefer vinyl anyway.

Well, there are also a ton of 24 bit vinyl rips if you are a fan. There are some real gems in comparison to the CD and digital hi-rez releases. Just saying
A lot of the hi-rez releases are compressed like their CD quality counterparts, so they are not really worth it

My budget doesn't allow me to buy expensive digital albums, so I'll pass. I'm sure there are other takers though.

I'm surprised they'd compress their hi-res albums. That's funny and now a waste of money, too.
