Guys…I will be there and likely at the beginning too as my schedule has now allowed me to be on time.

I do not plan on bringing my ampsandsound Bigger Ben Rev 2 as it is just too big awkward and heavy…but I am also considering trading or selling it…so local would be so much more convenient. So if someone is interested….let me know and I can bring it.

I will be coming with my Rognir Planar and my A&K acro c1000t. I will have a couple iems too. Just sold off my Tunsten and the may be gone by then too….but that means I may have something else to bring if I find something I like and get it in time…or I may have a lot of cash to shop from the guys with equipment for sale at the show.

I was informed about this event from a friend. I wanted to check to see if there's still room available and make sure that it's not too late to join. I'll be traveling form out of state so I wanted to check first.
Yep, still have a couple spots left! If you're in, please use the voting buttons at the top of the thread to RSVP, and feel free to PM me if you want more logistics info like about lodging. Looking forward to meeting you!

I really hate to miss this, but I will be traveling for business. Have a great meet, and I hope to join next year.
We'll miss seeing you! Next time, for sure.

For everyone else, if you want to take orbilius' spot for the post-meet dinner, PM me.

I've heard great things about the M15! I often feel guilty and irrational spending big bucks for a 1/2% improvement. You shouldn't feel inadequate, but rather smart. :beerchug:

It's sure fun to demo both the rational stuff and crazy stuff at a meet like this, though!

Exactly, that’s why meets like this one are so important: they demystify and add context to what you’ve heard about any piece of gear.

Whether you walk away thinking, “that was amazing; I need it,” or “that was impressive, but I’m happy with what I have,” or even “that seems like a waste of money”, at least you *know* and aren’t taking someone else’s word for it 💯

Oh. Don’t get me wrong. I have a dCS Lina, a Woo WA 23 and a T+A HA200. I’m just saying all I’m bringing on Sat is my M15….
Lol! Ok, you're just as insane as the rest of us. 🤣

Agreed. That's why I'm trying to bring as much of my gear as possible to this meet. I keep reading about all of these other systems that are supposed to be incredible, but without being able to hear them yourself and compare them to the things you are familiar with, it's tough to know whether they'd truly be better than what you already have. The alternative is that you end up buying blind, perhaps based on others' recommendations, and stand a good chance of getting something you really don't find involving.

Among others, I'm really interested to hear the RAAL, Caldera, Susvara, Valkyria, and D8000. Each of these has a mythic following, and I'd love to hear them myself. Perhaps others haven't played around with electrostats or heard the AT woodies, so I hope I can give them a chance to experience them firsthand.

Hi y'all! Meant to post here, but I'm a bit of a lurker so it took me some time. I have already polled "yes" on the thing so hopefully I didn't mess up any numbers/RSVP'ing.

I'll be coming in from cap hill so I'm not too far out- gonna be bringing (what seems to be) a second Aeolus and a JM (modded) HE-R7DX. I know I'm a little light on gear, but at least a second head will have an Aeolus and maybe someone is interested in JM's work! I can also bring a Bottlehead Crack with Speedball, but the 6080 tube is a little hissy until its warm enough- so I wasn't really planning on it. But if anyone wants me to bring it or if anyone wants to bring a clean 6080 spare, let me know and I'll plan to bring it down!

Excited to meet everyone!

The first of the goodies Danny (@SageM ) is providing for our meet arrived via freight carrier today:

More is on its way, too, apparently. This is gonna be a great meet.
