Hi Head-Fi'ers!

I just sent PMs with logistics info to all those who RSVP'd for the meet. If you didn't get one, that means I didn't get you down for some reason, so please post or PM me and let me know so I can get you the info! Without that logistics info, you won't be able to get into the building, so make sure you got it. Note: recommended parking is a little different this time, so please check that PM.

If you haven't yet RSVP'd for the meet but want to attend, please post and I will make sure you get the PM.

We have a dinner reservation for 10 people at 8:15. The following people have confirmed for dinner:
Me, @SageM , @boogaloo3k , @fiascogarcia , @Makiah S (+1).

I also have maybe's from Mark H, @Blindranger , @Mister Crash , @littlej0e , and @Voxata . If you are a maybe, please confirm or decline.

And if you did not RSVP for dinner but want to go, please let me know as we might have a few spots left.

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday!

I think I'll have to decline dinner this time: the timing just doesn't work out for me. Sorry to miss it, but I will be there for lunch and the meet itself.

Wow!! Just catching up on this thread, but that is an amazing lineup above!

I’m thinking I might leave the Atrium at home if no one will miss it too badly. I’ll plan to bring it next time. For this time, I’m still planning to bring Project Omega, Tungsten, Celestee, and my new Black Friday splurge the HD 620S. I figure that these are the ones that people are least likely to have heard so far from my little collection. Let me know if anyone feels strongly about hearing the Atrium and I can still bring it, but if not, I’ll try to keep to a manageable 4 HPs 🙂

I'll bring my Atrium Closed since I'll mostly be limited to bringing headphones. I'll skip on bringing my CFA3 since HeadAmp will be there. I don't think I'll be able to drag along the Aegis due to the parking logistics as I'll have to take off before dinner time.

I'll also bring Caldera Open, Verite Open, and LCD-R (these are for sale, fyi)

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'm going to do me best to try an get ahold of my AKG K1000 Bass Heavy to bring, but I'm planning to have my @Bill-P Modded D5k with me alongside of a Black Silk HD 580.

Plus a line up of stuff from the shop! I'll confirm those details when I have them here shortly

Hi All,

A few questions & updates:

1) Makiah from HeadAmp is landing on Friday at DIA around 12:30pm. Any chance anyone is free and might be able to pick him up and bring him to his hotel downtown?

2) Can anyone volunteer to bring a few beers? I don't think we'll need many--10 will probably mean some are left over. A variety of types would be great. Hoping this would just involve grabbing a few from the fridge, not making a special trip the store. I will handle non-alcoholic drinks & will bring some scotch/whisky. And MokhaMark is bringing BBQ for everyone for lunch!

3) Sadly, Woo Audio's WA24 was damaged in transit, but we will have a WA22 and WA33!

I don't think I'll be able to drag along the Aegis due to the parking logistics as I'll have to take off before dinner time.
Would it fit in a rolling suitcase? That could be an option. The parking lot is just across the street. Or you can leave it here and pick it up later sometime. I get it if it's too much of a PIA, though, and sorry about the parking logistics!

As of right now, it looks like we still have 2 (maybe 3) spots left for dinner. Anyone else want to join us for our 8:15pm reservation at Guard & Grace?

I only have carry on bags, so maybe. It's 30 lbs and I'm not sure how well I can pack it to protect the protruding switches. The challenges of not having real packaging for a DIY amp. I'll see what I can do when I start loading things up. In my head it just seems like a pain...

I will likely need to head out before dinner since I don't get home until Friday night from a week-long work trip and should be home in time to put the kiddos to bed.

As I updated Chris a few days ago, just learned we have visitors coming into town from London so I can't come and join you. So bummed. This looks like an awesome event, and I'll be jealously following this thread for your impressions...

The meetup is right around the corner! I've got some interesting Schiit this time around - unfortunately though was unable to get a Gungnir 2 in time but this will be available for a minimeet. Regardless, I'm stoked to compare it to the older Gungnir A2 and curious how it performs vs the MiB. Schiit has a history of releasing some product stack displacing hardware when they launch a new architecture so I'm hoping this follows suit.

Aside from this, as always bring some cans you are familiar with as I'll have two stacks ready to rock.

Awesome! To add to your Schiit, Danny also sent a Yggdrasil+ OG (courtesy of @yyzSB ). In fact, it's here already. This is gonna be a Schiity meet!

That is awesome, I've only heard an older A2 and really liked it.

I'm going to arriving hopefully around 4:30pm, there was mechanical issues, good news tho crew I have a confirmation for what we'll have!!!!

Serving as our DAC & Roon Core will be the Mytek Brooklyn Bridge II

For amplifiers we'll have our Blue Hawaii Special Edition in Silver, our HeadAmp GS-X Mini in Champagne & two CFA3s! One standard and one deluxe.

For headphones we'll have the STAX SR-X9000, STAX SR-X1, HIFIMAN Susvara, ModHOUSE Tungsten, Meze Elite Tungsten, Abyss Diana DZ, Meze 105 AER, the DCA Corina and something new from Dan Clark Audio.

I was also able to grab my modded D5k, which I'm excited to hear out of the CFA3 Deluxe. Sadly I couldn't get ahold of my HD580 or AKG K1000.

Also a big shout out to Mokha Mark for the BBQ. Can't wait till tomorrow! Wishing every one safe travels in the mean time!
