The Cocktail Audio X10 is an interesting piece of kit that performs a range of useful tasks pretty well. It can rip CDs and store them in a range of formats up to CD quality FLAC on a built in (but upgradable) HDD. It collects CD database information from the net.
The X10 can then play the files directly into headphones, speakers or stream the music to a range of devices over a network or even the internet. It can also integrate into a conventional audio system through a range of audio output options.
It can also read music from a range of inputs, including USB and internet radio.
I've written a more details review here.
Although it's a niche product and it's doesn't do anything that couldn't be done on a desktop computer, it's a very neat one box solution that I think deserves a little more attention.
