So lately i've been using a nokia e63 as my backup source, It has a HORRIBLE hiss with my RE2s. Would a cmoy like http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f42/fs...-m-3-a-436831/ that one eliminate the hiss?

If the hissing is coming from the cellphone, the cmoy will just amplified it. Try another 32ohm IEM or earbud and see if the hiss continue first.

yeah the hiss is coming from the cellphone. I tried with senheissers PMX200 and RE2, still the same hiss.

I guess a cmoy will just make the hissing louder.

that sux, guess I'll just have to carry my useless* czv:m around until I can buy a hiss less player

*useless because even though it plays all my music stored in it, it refuses to connect to any pc and I just get the dreaded "usb device not recognized"
