I have been diagnosed with Acoustic Shock Disorder and have severe Hyperacusis.
If anyone unfortunately has hyperacusis also; please can you tell me if you have managed to find a headphone that is tolerable to listen to.
I'm personally thinking:
Closed back
Highly transparent
Good resolution
Warm with a soft treble
As neutral as possible (but maybe boosted bass because of the extreme low volume of playback and the fact that bottom and the top end will both be reduced).
Direct from iPod/TV
Up to £375
I will be very pleased to hear from you.
