i have a friend with a big head that's looking for a pair of closed HPs. his main cans are the uber comfy K601. my DT990 and K271 mkii are comfortable enough for him, but i'm wondering how the DT770 and DT150 clamp and over-all comfort in comparison to the K271 and DT990?

thanks!

DT770 are much better in terms of comfort than DT150. They probably the same as DT990.

The top three Beyers (dt770. dt880, and dt990) share the same easily bendable headband. They are, arguably, the most comfortable in the marketplace. Never owned dt150 and don't recall how they are built.

The k271 are perfectly o.k. in terms of comfort for most - but, IMO fall down in reproducing the timbre of many instruments. When I began using headphones - they are the 2nd pair that I sold, quickly.
