Hi all, I can't recall if I have ever seen a measurement of the Mojo2 DSP in action. Has anyone even measured the actual impact on the FR?

Another question: what is your preferred setting with HQplayer with the Mojo2?
yes i did it

Hi!

Maybe someone knows ... :)
I want to connect my mojo2 (3.5mm) to a Topping L70 (2RCA).
Could someone recommend a suitable (for the level of these devices) neutralinterconnect cable, up to 1m long?
With a cost of up to $100-120.
So far, I only see these options:
Wireworld Pulse 3.5mm to 2RCA 1.0m
AudioQuest Evergreen 3.5mm - 2RCA 0.6m
Mogami Gold 3.5mm TRS to Dual RCA Accessory Cable (3')

I don't have the possibility to listen to them...

Perhaps on the pricier side, the Blue Heaven LS iKable is available from NORDOST in 3.5mm stereo to two RCA
https://www.nordost.com/leif/blue-heaven/blue-heaven-iKable.php

Another option, DH Labs Silver Sonic BL-1 iCable
https://silversonic.com/products/interconnects/bl-1-icable/

there are many, also ClearwayX and ShawlineX ARAY analogue mini-jack/RCA cable
https://chord.co.uk/product-category/connections/interconnects/analogue-mini-jack/

(I did a DIY with Mogami W2534 cable and Neutrik ProFi connectors)

Good luck
.

what other dacs offer the similar 4 or more band eq options with shelf eq adjustments? because i don't know if i can ever give up my mojo 2. im really loving how convenient it is to adjust bass and smooth down treble in an instance for different genres of music. it's mega convenient and quick to tune my listening preference on the fly, and while i do have some custom eq profiles on apo for my desktop, it just doesn't sound as correct as mojo 2 eq. i heavily use eq and it's just great mojo 2 makes it so easy with 9db levels in either direction.

and my smsl ddc finally came in. the optical does offer a tad more smoother listening experience in contrast to the usb-c connection. so now i have proper noise isolation when connected to my older pc tower. it's been a worthwhile buy, less than $100 for it.

i've been eyeing some xduoo amp products and some of the stuff i have a bit of interest in comes with its own dac like the ta-32 model. kinda doubt i want to use another dac that's not the mojo 2.

there are several options, but some additional context would help - for instance outdoors would the mojo/dap be in your hand, or on your belt, or in your backpack?

On belt
Valentinum does cases for various daps/dacs, plus custom cases if needed.

Together in a stack
Some owners of MojoOG and Mojo2 design 3D cases for a DAC/DAP stack. You can find several, if you use 3D as the search term, for example:

Other owners have used double sided sticky tape, or velcro tape, to hold the DAC/DAP together
For example see the Darko video https://www.head-fi.org/threads/cho...ing-on-page-95-of-thread.885405/post-16850316

It will be mostly in my hand. I have a miter case coming for Mojo and the DAP is in a rugged case. I am looking for options to attach both together like a stack. Something that holds them tight.

This small DAP was perfect for me with MOJO or MOJO2.
I used this DAP, usb C to Coax cable into MOJO....
1ST ONE was perfect.
2nd one was perfect too until battery won't recharge and dead.....
I just look for a digital transport Goal only....MOJO will take care the rest....

Did you have to request a warranty service or did you ask to just buy a Mojo 2 battery? Also, what instructions did you follow to install the battery? Thanks!

I ended up contacting Chord. They sent me an online form to initiate communication with Jam. Jam can change it for you but I had previously done my Mojo1 so I just requested the battery. I removed screws, popped the cable off, replaced and closed it up. Voila. I think there are vids for the mojo1 which is very similar.

I use my phone as a source and have a case with an elastic strap. It actually works really well with the mojo. I have a miter case too and it gives the mojo some more bulk and a tighter fit so that even if you shake it doesn't fall off. That and a short usb cable to connect them. It's actually pretty ergonomic. Just holding the phone normally places your fingers on mojo's buttons. Doesn't look silly or messy either.

I don't know if there's a similar case for daps but it might give you some ideas. Alternatively you could just use velcro.

Good old blue tak works great for me. Solid but can easily be reversed
