Hi there! Glad to meet all:) I’ve been reading this thread for quite a while and got lots of help. Many thanks.
Now I’m using a simple system as below and feeling very well:
MacBook Pro (running Audirvana)-->Type-C to TosLink Cable(0.5m,up to 24/192)-->Hugo2(TosLink Input,6.3mm Phone Out)-->Dan Clark Audio Ether C Flow Headphone
When a Gustard A20H AMP(via Hugo2’s RCA output)was inserted into the system, I found the headphone performs even better.
The only problem is the A20H amp is too big and heavy:)

Looks like there are a few of these cables on AliExpress. They aren't going to transmit 384k though. They'd be limited to 192k at best.

Hey people, I just acquired (for a great price) a second hand Hugo two with the following defects:

  1. The volume ball is a tiny bit "sticky" but works perfectly
  2. 3.5mm socket is a bit funny (might need to be changed, but could live without it.
Anyone else had such issues and how easy are they to fix?

Thanks!

If you're in the US, I recommend contacting Nick at The Sound Organisation. (rick@soundorg.com). They do great work!!
