Haters will say it is not portable enough for IEMs
Ha nice.Haters will say it is not portable enough for IEMs
I had exactly the same dilemma today. Normally if I hid Hugo in a hoodie itโs still accessible, but today with it in a hoodie.. in a coatโฆHa nice.
Itโs never even occurred to me to bring the remote when Iโm out and about with H2.
All this time Iโve been reaching in my backpack or suffering excessive volume and wondering why I didnโt just bring my smaller DAP.

I figured maybe Iโll use the remote for the first time for volume control, tbh it worked flawlessly haha
From the (LOL) manual:I'm gonna have to use the remote more. I thought it was an IR remote and wouldn't work if the sensor was covered up...unless IR waves pass through fabrics well enough If so, or it's an RF remote and I'm just stupid lol, that's an elegant solution. Good find!
Well at least I'm not stupid...on this matterFrom the (LOL) manual:
Hugo 2โs IR sensor is located within the viewing glass, for optimal performance please do not obstruct this area.
Also did a post on Facebook group with a video how Iโm wearing it (found quite funny it being the only use case for the remote for me) It is infrared, but for some reason there was no problem using the hugo inside a hoodie and coat. And you need the volume control a lot with a sensitive IEM, since the volume difference between tracks is big

For people interested, they can always see how Hugo looks with a hoodie. Still quite flashy designI thought this was a DAC thread, not a fashion show!
Outside though you canโt even see if itโs turned on or not during sunlight.. Itโs quite ok for me, at nighttime the second dimmed option has never been too brightAlso, that reminds me, the lights on the Hugo 2 are helpful but can be absurdly bright.
Can I ask what the PW Audio module is being used for? I assume it plugs into the RCA outputs?Ver Nice Combination....
