Where did you get the batteries from?Hi, I've just replaced the batteries in my Hugo 2 but it's not charging. It turns on for about 10 seconds, then goes off and indicates a purple light on the power button for another 5 seconds and then goes completely off. Does not respond at all when not plugged in. Is there a way to reset the unit?

I had one of my local battery suppliers make them up for me. They didn't cost much really, about AUD70.Where did you get the batteries from?
If i am not mistaken original batteries have current balancing circuit built on top of the batteries .I had one of my local battery suppliers make them up for me. They didn't cost much really, about AUD70.
Do the replacements have them too?

Very easy if you know lefty-loosy righty-tighty.Curious to see how the replacement works out. I'm considering a used unit but want to know how easily replaceable the batteries are.
Undo screws on bottom, lift off cover carefully to avoid dropping your balls.
Unplug old batteries, detach from double-sided sticky tape.
Apply new tape if required
Install new batteries
Replace cover and put screws back (note there are a couple of shorter screws)
Enjoy your extra battery run-time.
Its a cell protection circuit to prevent over-discharge, over-charge and over-current. Some 18650 cells already have this circuit included. If i am not mistaken original batteries have current balancing circuit built on top of the batteries .

Here is an example for illustration purposes only, I have no idea if this would work in the Hugo 2

If you click the above, you will see that there is a small round circuit at the tip of the battery, within the shrink wrap.
I believe it needs a battery with that circuit built in.
If I stream to H2G via tidal am I able to start/pause, move to next/previous track via Hugo buttons?
NoSi je diffuse en H2G via tidal, puis-je démarrer/mettre en pause, passer à la piste suivante/précédente via les boutons Hugo ?
Damn that sucks. Thanks
What buttons?!If I stream to H2G via tidal am I able to start/pause, move to next/previous track via Hugo buttons?
Guess I assumed. More so asking if there's any physical way to control playback on the H2 or 2go.What buttons?!
no, you can just mute the h2 by pressing 2 h2 buttons simultaneously but the playback will continue on the source. it will not drive your sourceGuess I assumed. More so asking if there's any physical way to control playback on the H2 or 2go.
If you have H2 + 2go you can control playback with your phone.Guess I assumed. More so asking if there's any physical way to control playback on the H2 or 2go.

Hi.
I have a Hugo2/2Go.
I have a situation where I’d like to be able to use Hugo2 as a DAC connected to a source with only USB output without having to disconnect 2Go.
Will 2Yu accomplish this? (connecting to source via USB and then to Hugo2 via Optical for example)
My dealer’s website suggests this is possible
However the Chord website and 2Go manual says it is not.
Is my use case in fact possible?
I realize there are other DDCs that could accomplish this and I’m open to suggestions but the 2Yu is being offered to me at a great price and would make a nice streamer with 2Go if I ever (probably) upgrade the Hugo2 to another Chord DAC.
Thanks.

Yes it will work as I think you are describing your use case.Hi.

Edit:
I added a pic to illustrate my assumption of what you are trying to achieve, note the 2yu needs power as well as USB signal.
2yu is effectively working as a very expensive USB to coax/optical convertor, the BNC output does seem to sound better to me but digital is digital so its just a placebo.
