One of the RCA sockets on my Hugo 2 is significantly tighter than the other. I think it's the plastic socket for the center pin that is too tight. What can I do about it?

Don't know about the price. Just waiting for announcement. Maybe this is the best portable amp on the market.
Yeah was thinking about adding tsuranagi to hugo2 for ultimate IEM setup, but this modular amp makes things me curious
Isn't it a power amp? Why would you want a portable power amp, and how would you connect IEM to a power amp?

It is, power amp means it operates at full power with no volume attenuation and needs to be connected to a preamp to control volume. Hugo2 is always a preamp so this makes sense. If it’s quiet enough you could plug IEMs just like headphones

With a banana to headphone jack adapter? Man, I thought the HE-6 days were over.

This is the whole suzi amp module still with 6.3 and 3.5mm. Power amp doesn’t have to be for speakers, also doesn’t have to have much power. It just means it doesn’t have volume attenuation and needs to be connected to a preamp

Ah that makes sense. Bold for Chord to make a HP amp w/o volume control though. But then products like Poly exist, so if anyone is going to make a HP amp that only works for one product, it's gonna be Chord...

From what was explained to me last night, the Suzi speaker power amp is the box everything is sitting on.
The box that you have highlighted in red, seems to be some interface (with speaker sockets) between either the Hugo 2 (or the Suzi preamp) and the Suzi speaker power amp.

The interface box also seems to cover up the Hugo 2 coax and optical inputs, leaving only the 2Go inputs available.

Hopefully we will learn more details in the coming hifi shows/canjams.

Regardless, I don’t understand why someone would want to save a few cubic inches of space on their desktop when they could put a box on top of another and connect them with cables… They must really love legos.

Hold on, so the suzi module for hugo2 can’t be used on its own with hugo2? I was sure it was adding an additional amplification stage for the portable Hugo with headphones…

Unfortunately we only have still photos and the written recollections of someone who attended the event.
A video of Johns talk would probably have answered most of these questions.

In the one photo you have the Hugo2/2Go plugged into the small Suzi module, which itself sits on top of (presumably plugging into) the main box of the Suzi speaker level power amp.
If the small Suzi module is also an amplifier, the only new capability it could provide is amplifying the existing Hugo 2 audio output, to say the TT2 level of audio output (for some of the most difficult to drive headphones.
All higher power outputs would need the Suzi speaker level power amp.

So I finally snatched Hugo 2 from a forum member. Love it so far, but I have questions. I know that the light color must change depending on the quality of the files I'm playing right now. But the color is always red, no matter what I'm listening to—Spotify or ALACs through Apple Music, 16-bit, 24-bit, still red.

Then I was told that I should use a player that has direct output to the DAC, so I downloaded Audirvana, imported my library there, chose Hugo 2 as the output in the settings, still red. Did the seller sell me a faulty Hugo, or am I doing something wrong here? Thank you.
