Hey guys,

I've been using the Hugo2 for a while now but I've haven't been able to figure out how to run this off USB power rather than its internal battery. Any tips on how can I do that other than charging it for 24 hours beforehand?

You need to connect a second microUSB to the charging port.

One thing I've noticed with my Hugo 2 is that the USB data cable is quite easily dislodged by even minor movement, meaning that sound is then cut off. Anyone else have this issue?

I've also reported this cable issue where the supplied cable falls out so easily. Funnily enough, just this afternoon my son brought in a vtec kids watch to charge off my dock. It comes with a USB-A to Micro USB, I figured i'd plug it in to see how the input handled this cable and it was tight! I've assumed in the past that replacement cables from Curious and companies like this would fit better, but I haven't been able to get a straight answer.

Amazon has magnetic usb cables that can do both power and data. The adapters fit tight and stay with the H2. The cables then snap on to these magnetically. They really save the delicate ports.

I tried a few cables on mine and they all had this issue to varying degrees. My Mojo doesn't seem to have this issue, oddly enough. It is annoying, indeed.

I´ve connected my PC to Hugo2 through the optical connection, but the Sample Rate indicator light is always the same red color (44khz). Is this normal? I cant listen to more than 44khz through optical input?

probably my question has been already answered, but i didnt find it

EDIT: Just saw that i was using DS sound in foobar2000 instead of WASAPI Event, using Wasapi light indicator changes with saple rate

mine can only turn on, does a round of lighting and then shuts down completely. It can't turn on without the charger and my best guess is the battery is dead.

the local authorized distributor rejects to support replacing the battery since i didn't buy it from them. So i guess i have to replace the battery on my own. Anyone knows where to get the battery ?

I had the same issue under warranty and it was fixed. It is supposed to be usable when plugged in even if the battery is dead, but it wasn't. They didn't tell me what they did to fix it.

My gently used Hugo 2 just landed yesterday after a week in FedEx purgatory. Made for a pretty big upgrade to my patio office workspace today. Love it so far. Biggest jump I noticed was on my Campfire Solaris 2020. I had been thinking of ditching the Solaris because the fit isn’t great for me (constantly losing seal), but the jump from Mojo and my M11 Pro definitely putting that on hold.
