Chord Electronics - Hugo 2 - The Official Thread

The hugo 2 is 100% a solid performer solo. At least one of those 3 units was down to my inexperience in handling such items. If you can you will be truly rewarded with H2 without any mscaler. A small box which easily beats large desktop dacs across the whole spectrum of musical qualities. IMHO.

Still hope to see the 2Go Streamer. Fingers crossed for 2019. Especially based on the Poly post 2.0 firmware & GoFigure app. @Matt Bartlett @Mojo ideas can ether of you give us some idea of intentions. Those pictures from early 2018 were very tempting.

Keep the faith...do i remember something like that about the return of christ, and 2000 years later......
Well I suppose I am not always known around here as " a bringer of glad tidings" ,but I am for the simple reason that I am unable to find the Qutest thread happy to note in the wrong thread, that Qutest has got an EISA award this year.
And before I am assumed dim again... Try typing Chord Qutest Official Thread in the search box and see what you retrieve?
My search rendered " did you mean chord quiet"!
But honestly to sound really good Qutest needs an MScaler as well imho.
And so does HUGO 2.
Cheers CC

Schit, does it come with a free hugo 2 ? as I just sold mine. *&#@ !

Ahwell, schit happens :frowning2:

I Hope 2go KO's the competition John, seriously, the thing I wanted more than anything is the thing I will never see :frowning2: ( bills needed paying ). It's capabilities will make hugo 2 feel/sound like it's brand new all over again. Good Luck with it's release!

Sure, that is a valid upgrade route too.
But if someone is on a 'relative' budget, should consider trading in Qutest or Hugo2 for a solo TT2. This could be £500-800 ($600-1000) less expensive than buying an MScaler for your Qutest/Hugo2 and the sonic improvement is absolutely next level compared to Hugo2 or Qutest with any amp..
Furthermore, if you buy an MScaler for your Hugo2/Qutest you'll want that TT2 very soon anyway. I think it is better to get the TT2 first and then the MScaler.

Checking Hugo2 thread every hour on the hour between now and September for 2Go news.

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before, but for us M Scaler/Hugo 2 owners, has there been any indication if you would be able to use 2go, M Scaler and Hugo 2 all together? I can’t logically see how so I guess not, just wondered if anyone had heard anything official on this?

It was asked and discussed couple of times but I dont think there was any official statement from chord. It would require digital out of 2go so there were doubts it would work...
