Still looking for a good quality SS amplifier to go with DAVE, hopefully better than ferrum oor, only use utopia for headphones

In my book nothing beats Dave direct out with Caps mod and being battery powered. My jaw is on the floor all the time when i listen how it sounds now.

A quality battery powered amp to stay off grid preventing a groundloop.

Also ive seen some months ago an article of a pure desktop amp without volume control on headfi's main page.. but search and searched and cant find it anymore. No volume circuit is cleaner when using Dave as pre.
