I have done my fair share of research and have my selection narrowed down to the Concero, Arcam irDAC, and Emotiva DC-1. I know these are different in terms of functionality, but the only thing I would NEED is the DAC via USB. The headphone amp of the DC-1 would be a bonus. I can't find any comparisons between these 3, or even 2. Can anyone help me?

Thanks! Yeah I read through that before, but unfortunately I couldn't really draw any conclusions from that as far as the difference between these, other than that the DC-1 and irDAC fell into the "indistinguishable" category. But it definitely helps and thanks! That thread is interesting because the admin locked it about a month ago and I'm not sure exactly why. I know a lot of people were upset and in disbelief that there was no difference between a hand full of DACs and frankly I was one of them.

I think it was locked because Gary was done with his evaluation.

I have the DC 1 and couldn't be happier...see the review I linked below.

Works great with USB ; no issues at all with 24/192 downloads.
