Hey there :)

Well, after viewing and searching a lot I have narrowed my options down to three, and I truly can't decide now..

- DUNU DN-22M (45$ Free shipping)
Vs.
Sony MH1C (49$ Inc. shipping)
Vs.
Vsonic VSD1S (42.50$ Free shipping)

Which would you take? And why?

***There is another option who's a bit more expensive:
Logitech Ultimate Ears 600vi (60$ Inc. Shipping)
Vs.
Hisound BA100 (60$ Discounted!)

Will only add the money if it's REALLY worth it though.

Thank you,
Omga4000 :)

go for it I say! I was gonna get those but they only have the iPhone option for those. So then I wanted to go for the Sony XBA-1VP which works with android but the good deal that amazon had doesn't ship to Australia..

I will go with the VSD1S if you have the time to burn them in to tighten up the sound and have an amp to make these sing at their full potential. I can't comment on the rest, but from what I've heard, BA100 will work right out of the box.

The UE600 doesn't support Android devices whatsoever??
I am planning to use the headset with my Galaxy S4.
Microphone and buttons won't work?
That's a big issue for me actually..

I can get the Sony XBA-1VP you mentioned for about 57$,
which is a price I'm willing to spend.
Are they better than the other options I mentioned?

Unfortunately I have no understanding on such things,
nor do I have the amp to do so.
The BA100's are well built?
Better than the Sony XBA-1VP or other options I mentioned?

Thank you both very much!! :)

I guess you are located in US, check Amazon for $45.

The UE 600vi are made for iOS devices. The 'vm' tag on for example the UE 400vm/UE 350vm are made for general smartphones, so should definitely support the S4. But I don't think there is a 600vm model.

Same with the Sony XBA-1VP, which is made for non android/other, and the XBA-1IP is made for iOS

Did you mean "non iOS/other"?
I'm not from the USA, but maybe I could still order them from Amazon. Have to check.

Anyway - are they better than any of my other options? And why?

I'll get the vsonics because I'm partial towards their IEMs. and if they are 80% as good as the GR07, I think thats a very  good deal.

yep I meant that. so it should work with your S4.

I can't give you that much advice, I am in the same boat as you. I'm looking for earphones for my S3. All the good stuff is usually made for iOS devices and whilst there probably are hacks out there to make them compatible I can't be bothered to go through all that trouble, plus I want to use mine for PS4 as well and apparently the iOS ones are not very compatible with them.

From what you've listed the Sony MH1C has popped up most in my hours and hours of research, but they're pretty old now. And I'm pretty sure there is better.. I'm picking up some UE 350vm on a local auction site for $30, so I can't go wrong there I guess.

edit: Vsonic VSD1S don't have a mic or controls so that was the reason I didn't go for them.

Is ot possible that the Vsonic VSD1S have no mic and buttons?
Becausr of so - they ate off the list..

Thought so as well. They (Sony's) seem pretty decent.
Unfortunately such earphpnes (UE's) aren't even available in my country.
And I can't just order them for the sake of trying.

I'd hate to order my earphones, wait a month for them to arrive,
and then be disappointed.
Guess i'll have to wait for more comments..

Thank you :)

Like I added in my last post, they do not have mic/controls.

Have a look at this excellent round up of in ear monitors. If you scroll all the way down to the round-up. Everything in the left BLUE column that contain a '1' I believe are compatible with non iOS devices. But please double check things as well if you see a good one.

btw here's another list of in-ears.

That then reduces your options. I'll go for BA100 then.

Are they significantly better than the Sony's?
Worth the difference?

I have seen no review of them here.
The Sony MH1C are getting pretty decent reviews,
and as I'm a "beginner", and this are mu first
non-stock earphones, aren't they good for an entry level?

Like I added in my last post, they do not have mic/controls.

I've seen the first one, that's how I came up with the Sony MH1C.
The second link just compliments them more :)

I heard forumers here mention that the BA100 SQ is even better that the $150 Tpeos H100. I can't be sure. If thats the case then BA100 will be significantly better than the MH1C. Is it possible for you to audition them?
