Hey guys, I'm a complete noob at this, but I was just wondering, what would be the cheapest way to feed the sound from a source that outputs via Coaxial into my PC? Is there a USB DAC out there that can do it? I haven't found anything that does this task for under $100 other than the E-MU 0404.

OK, your want to feed a digital signal using a coaxial cable from another source such as a DVD player INTO your PC?
just calarifying as your post is a bit unclear.
If yes, then just look for USB or internal soundcards within your budget with S/Pdif input.

EMU 0404 PCI can be had for about $50 shipped from eBay, it's a great card, I recommend it.
