newbie here, also new to the forums. i have found a couple headsets that i would be interested in. although it looks like i will need to collect a few in order to find out which one suits me best. The sets listed below are the ones i found on google that are decent for music production. now what i need is to know if there is an AMP in the price range of 500-800 that would work full performance with all of the listed headphones or would i need to go over the $800 budget. i dont think i would end up collecting all of the sets listed below but will more likely collect the ones with the wider freq resp. range first.

I would say, from DIY style choices -> Dynalo, CK2III, M3
Not as familiar with the newer commercial offerings, but the Headamp gilmore lite + dps should do the job well. 
This is all in the range of 500 or less. I'm not familiar with the stuff past this price range.
 
Do consider the possibility of spending a bit less of the 800 budget on the amp, to also factor in a DAC for source.
 
I can't say however, that I'm familiar with all your headphones. Particularly the Fostex RP T40RP, they might be power hungry.  None of the headphones, from a quick glance, seem to be extremely efficient ones, but I'm unsure if you have any that are extremely inefficient.  If it's the case that you have headphones on both ends, then an amp with switchable gain would be most ideal, or compromising for a gain setting around the mid-lower end (4 - 6 ? ).

what about a pc sound card?

A pc sound card is not going to be adequate. They will make sound, but it won't be particularly good sound.
I own the HD 650 and AKG 702 and run them both off a SOHA II.
