Hello, looking for a good pair of portable headphones that
a/ aren't ugly or hefty - as shallow as that sounds
b/ sound good all-round, I have sketchy tastes - not meaning to sound pretentious
c/ fall under £40 / ~$75 as a price limit

I used to have a pair of shure e2c until one of the cables broke (

) and would like a quality of that level replaced if possible.

I realise the budget is really tight but any thoughts would be appreciated.

Some options I've come up with so far are:
Beyerdynamic DT 231
Panasonic RP-HTX7
Skullcandy (not sure what model yet)

Thanks in advance

Additional q:
How leaky is the alessandro ms-1? would I be able to get away with wearing it on say, a train? or not?

other alternatives I've found are:
Sennheiser HD 201/205/215
AKG K518DJ
iGrado

no clue what to choose out of all of these though!

I got myself a pair of AKG K518DJs recently for about £30 on ebay, they're portable and have a decent sound to them (for the price.) I can heartily recommend them for the outlay, good enough for the commute for me.

Very leaky. They're almost like speakers.
