Thats an amazing price for such an item. I would probably pick those up if i didnt already have my icemats(they sound awesome for music and do a great job for gaming). I hear the new steelapds(ones you listed) are pretty much are getting up there with like the dt770 type of sound(from a friend).

though i hear many bad things about buy.com
they have a bad reputation and people tell me to stay away from them.

The steelsound certainly do sound very alike the dt770, but the dt is better.
Smoother sound and more mids on the Beyer.
I haven't heard the v2 version but I'll doubt that it sounds as good at the dt's. (Haven't they just changed to thicker ear pads and equipped them with a better quality microphone? That's what I've heard.) Still they sound much like a dt770/80.
