I'm shopping for a new pair of headphones for my wife. She previously had the Sony MDR-710LP, but the hinge screw came loose and pieces were lost and all the king's horses and all the king's men. . . My wife listens to vocal music almost exclusively—opera and the like—and some classical. The MDR-710LP was a good headphone for her because they: played well with vocal music, cheap, small, and closed.

She prefers something closed, as she does most of her listening on the bus, but it has to be small. For reference, she considers my K81 much too big (not to mention they're terrible for her music preferences). I might just get another MDR-710LP for her. But I'm also considering the PX100, even though they're open. HD 25-SP II maybe? There's got to be some others out there. Any suggestions?

tldr; I need some suggestions for good headphones for my wife.

Criteria in order of importance:
~ $100
-for vocal music (opera)
-preferably closed, but small (no buds or IEM)
-bonus points for folding

Never heard the Sennheiser HD25's, but much praise about them on this forum.

These look very promising, cute and foldable for $60:

Probably the ATH ES7's are too big? They're very pretty though...but they expand your budget quite a bit, $149.
They come in black as well.
