Need something portable for street and school use, proper cheap because I couldn't care less. Won't be used with amp or nothing, just my phone or iPod. Under £30 (not a penny more), currently deciding between CX300 and CX400's but that's about it. Mainly listen to trance.

They're the same price in Amazon (that's the only reason I might be getting new iems, real cheap CX300's)

Any point in getting EP830?

JVC Marshmallows for me, Kramer modded. Very cheap (can be found as low as $10 here, and that's in Canadian! Practically nothing), and decent sound for what you pay. It has an excellent bass feedback and the mids and highs improve with the aforementioned mod. Liked it better than EP630, personally.

Current options: Creative EP630, EP830, Sennheiser CX300 (or if there's a huge difference CX400) and JVC Marshmallows.

Dunno yet but Marshmallows I can get locally and pretty cheap, might go and see them tomorrow.

Keep the suggesties coming and thanks to those who already gave their opinion

Sorry for DP but am I blind or dumb? Do my eyes say that CX500 are £12.99 + shipping?

Regardless you are probably going blind. Nothing there says £12.99.

If you couldn't care less, why bother asking us? Just buy whatever you see first and be done with it.

Because I couldn't care less about my portable setup as I use it daily but not for long periods. Need something that's good for money and will hold up.
