I'll be making the payment on this very soon.  Obviously though, Soloist will likely go up for sale, unless I really just prefer it instead.

It's a cool idea, but I can't justify spending $150 on a $20 dollar headphone just because it's "Crackafied". I'd be much more interested if Bottlehead come out with a DIY planar ala the Mad Dog. Though planars don't really play nice with the BHC.

Odd question, but does anyone know the age requirement on the hotel?

I know they vary between 18-25. However, I might bring the gf along and we'd get a room, so hopefully they aren't crazy about it.

If you are under 18 that would probably present a problem.  They would likely require an adult signature at least which  I am sure someone would only be willing to do with direct parental consent.

Haha didn't mean to make the impression that I'm that young. I'm 22, but I know some hotels like to shoot for 25.

Thanks for the interest!  I'm not sure if you remember but I actually shared a table with you back at the 2011 San Diego Meet and now I'm here helping organize one now.  It's a small Head-Fi world.

When is the date been set to? I have a PWD Mk II, a Lyr (Tele E88CC; Mullard Tooled Matsush ita E88CC; the stock JJs; 6CG7 RCA Cleartop), AKG q701s, and LCD-2.2s. I would love to make it, still trying to figure out if I am going to be back in NC at that time.

I checked with the Days Inn, their age requirement is 21 so you're good to go. Mention the Head--Fi meet for the $55.00 room rate.

WOOT my housing arrangements are good to go, talked with a pal of mine up there and she's happy to house me for 2 days, so that said I may have another guest or two with me!

Super excited :D I see three nice flag ships on that list ^^
