i got my av-710 two days ago and have been playing around with the settings based on what i've read in these posts...

i'm using the newest via driver (i guess new as of april 7).

my question is...how do i know when it is in hirez mode? every setting sounds the same to me. i'm using my akg 240s...so i don't think that is the problem. thanks

Open the "Via Vinyl Audio" Control Panel and look at "Sample Rate & Immerzio 3D" tab, the sample rate is displayed there. I think the card needs to be set to "Hi Sample Rate 2 Channel" for hi-res to work at all.

right now it is at 96...it won't get any higher than that, will it?
