This is an interior photo of the GLD 1.0 standard model. It's been about a month since I used it.
I don't have much experience with media players, but
We compared HIFIROSE's RS130 and Tidal.

It gave the impression of being a little more cohesive and detailed than the RS130, and the staging was wider. This difference is even greater when using the POW system.

The RS130 is very good in terms of usability and convenience as it has a wide display.

If you need convenience, it seems like a good choice. (RS130)

The GLD has excellent sound quality, but it has some inconveniences, and although I received a temporary user manual, it is still insufficient.

I think it can be a good sound quality experience if used in combo with DSDAC.

Have you had a chance to compare it with the new Aurender? for example with the Aurender n20?

Or maybe someone on the forum here has tried this Aurender device?

Hello, thanks for these pictures. You are lucky, you must be the first to have this device. What is its price? Are there other versions than the standard (Deluxe)?
There is a standard version and a deluxe version. The price is around $4,200 for the standard and $6,800 for the deluxe.

There is also a gls with dac included. I did not receive detailed information

sorry
Aurender can't experience it
If I get a chance, I'll compare.
Products in a similar price range
I think gld 1.0 is superior.

Thanks for prices.
I can't find any distributor for GLD. Where did you find yours?
Could you please detail your impressions between the Rose and the GLD, in particular on the dynamics and the bass?
Since it has not been officially released yet, you must apply for a reservation separately at a cen.grand distributor or inquire directly with cen.grand.

I received it after pre-ordering it through a distributor in Korea in August.
There was news that it would be late due to many reservations, but luckily there was some spare stuff and I received it early.

cen.grand says it is scheduled to be released internationally after October.

The impressions of ROSE and GLD are similar.
transparent and soft
However, GLD provides more powerful and detailed expressions.

my expressiveness is much less than that of a professional reviewer,
I can't write in detail
but I'm certain that GLD was a better experience.

Waoh... 6800$...It is no HiFi from China anymore. For this price I would rather take a local dealer with a proper after sale
And to be honnest: What justify such an ominous price for a streamer, which is just IT hardaware with standard soft ? Have they developed their own player app ?

It is true that the price is high for a Chinese HiFi (in Korea it is called Chi-Fi).
Honestly, I wonder why other brands of streamers besides GLD are priced so high. I just use the control app and Android OS or Windows OS, etc.

I don't know the details, but I'll skip this topic.

In some ways, GLD is a Windows PC that uses JLIVER, but I wondered why it was so expensive.
What I can tell is that it differentiates itself with a high-quality clock and POW system.

I don't know in detail how good this clock is, but it has the best sound of any player I know.

Honestly, I don't recommend this product. Although it is a good product, it still has many shortcomings and inconveniences in use.

The POW system cannot be used unless it is the DSDAC1.0 deluxe model.

The reason I bought it
I thought it was the most attractive product among streamers within the budget I could afford due to the synergy effect with dsdac 1.0.

Maybe this answer was helpful
I hope this helps as much as possible.

They are coming out with a GLD (DAC and Server/Streamer) and a GLS (Server/Streamer). I have a GLS on the way and should know soon enough how it sounds with my Deluxe. I have ALS and cannot perform the Prop Optical Mod. My hands aren't strong enough, so I will have Arthur perform the mod on the GLS before sending to me. I can perform the mod of putting the board into the back of the Deluxe, but I can't do the software update. There is just no way I can get the top off the Deluxe and get the wiring correct with weak and shaky hands. (the reason I am not writing reviews at the moment)

One thing to think about with these, is that they are Windows based, not Linux based, so while they will act as a Roon Core, they will most likely need to get that certification first. I am going to use it as a streamer. I have a high quality Roon Core already and I want to try the Prop Optical Mod (POW). But, I also have an incredible streamer so I don't know what type of sound I will get that makes a huge difference to my system. It will be fun to find out. I am very excited for the GLS to arrive.

They could also be the opposite. The GLD being just the server and streamer and the GLS being the DAC and Server/Streamer. But, I won't engage the DAC if that is the version I am getting. I don't know... they haven't updated their website and what is on the Cen.Grand website does not represent their newest models and Power Holdings hasn't added them to their site yet.

Concerning the DSD DAC De Luxe: I have the strong impression that it becomes better letting him permanently on (not in stand by...). Has somebody experienced the same ?

They have a whole new line-up about to release with two different types. GLD and GLS. What's on the website doesn't account for the new offerings yet.
