Very interesting, but it would be nice to know for old customers who already own the DAC and who don't live in the USA how the sale of this card, the price and the installation of the firmware will be managed...

Sorry I still don't know how they are going to handle it outside of the USA. I guess that comes down to individual dealers and their after sales support. Or perhaps dealing with Cen.Grand directly if you live somewhat close to China.
There was a miscommunication about the pricing which led to the discrepancy where I mentioned "around $100" for USA customers, but it ended up being $300. Sorry for any confusion there.
I'm told customers in the USA can still get a free install if they buy the card and pay shipping. And anyone who buys the upcoming GLD1.0 can also get a free upgrade to their Deluxe DAC, again just pay for shipping.
I am very much looking forward to trying out the new streaming devices when they launch, as well as the new interface card to see how that performs compared to other connection types. Curious as well if I2S makes much difference compared to USB or SPDIF, as that's important for those who already own streaming devices and don't plan on getting a GLD streamer.

If someone wanted to buy the POW card just to use it as I2S, do you think you can mount it yourself or is there a need to update the DAC's firmware for I2S too?

I suspect it needs a firmware update regardless of which connection type is being used. That makes the most logical sense.

My dsdac broke down and I sent it in for repair. And I sent it in for repair and reserved the GLD 1.0 regular version.
I was informed that I would be able to receive it around the end of August.
The Korean price is less than $4,200, but the deluxe version is about $3,000 more expensive. (Price may vary depending on the country.)
It is said that the deluxe version uses parts that are 2 to 3 levels better than the regular version.

I purchased it in January and it is not a serious problem.
Very occasionally, dsdac would be fixed at -58~-56DB and the freezing phenomenon would last for about 10 minutes to an hour. It came back to normal after that.
cen.grand also asked me to send it to them because they said it was the first time they had seen it.

The inner screen fall of, dont know why. But it sound amazing and build like a tank, maybe i just have badluck

Yeah well it sounded a lot worse than it looks...
Sometimes I see the screen being green, sometimes yellow...Do we have the choice of color in the menu ?
