There's the Sondek CD12 and the Sondek LP12. And yes somebody on this board does own a CD12 along with the R10s.

And it's not Vert w/ the Linn CD12 and R10... can't remember the name, right offhand, but I know it isn't Vert.

I have a Pioneer DV-343 transport -> modded MSB Link II DAC... for now.

Sony computer DVD player.

I will upgrade in the next few months, certainly to a multichannel/multiformat player. Leading contenders are the Phillips SACD1000 and the Pioneer DV747-A.

i'm real happy with the nad 541 that i use at the office.

i desperately need a new portable cd player.

it seems that whenever i hear people on here recommending a portable cd drive i can't find that model available anywhere...

Modern portable CD players pretty much suck. You're faced with either importing or looking for a used model for the most part.

An old (cir. 1992) Yamaha CDX 2020. Bought it cause I love the look: titanium, rosewood side panels and it weighs 35 Ibs. It does make music though I doubt it's anywhere as good as audiophile CD players nowadays. If anything I might add an outboard DAC (Musical Fidelity comes to mind).
