audiophile pressings. and pretty much all NEW releases(and re-pressings) on vinyl (which btw should be more than those on DVD-A and SACD) ARE audiophile pressings.

there really is no such thing as mass production records anymore.

gee man!!

Don't compare playing a film movie on a prof. machine to playing a record. Playing and caring for a record is not that much harder than playing and caring for a CD.

In contrast playing a tape or a DVD is much easier than projecting a film.

I wasn't making a critical comparison, just a light example. Buying analog recordings and equipment would be a waste of money for me personally.
