I'm looking for a CD player with very specific features.

1. Optical Out (not necessary if it's got a good on-board DAC)
2. Compact design in width (12" wide or narrower. I think standard width is 17")
3. Ability to switch 120V to 220 V
4. Under $300 (I can be a little loose with this)

Something like this would be the ideal form factor, but it only meets 1 of the criteria.

I looked around but could not find one meeting your criteria. The biggest hurdle is the need for it to be 120V and 220V. You might think about getting a converter for the power part which will open up the possibilities. Yamaha, Denon, Marantz, Onkyo, Teac all have compact CD players, but none with dual voltage option.

Thanks for looking! I think the next best would be if it was 220 only. And just to be clear, I'm not looking for a compact stereo, just the single component.
