CCA in ear monitors Impressions Thread

Got my A10 few hours ago. Letting it play for next few days. Will edit this post with my sound impression (vs AS06/AS10/C16) next week.
Best fitting IEM I've tried recently. I think the longish nozzle & lightweight helps. No tip rolling needed. Ear-plug level of isolation just like the AS06/AS10.

Oh you beat me to it! Thought I was the first to get a pair. How long did your take to get to you? I bought mine from EE Shop on Ali for around $36. Paid for them Sunday night and already have a USPS tracking # stating they are in transit from the shipping partner.

I've had my C16s for a few months now and really enjoy the sound. I use them daily with a balanced 2.5 cable and a FiiO X5 III. More than enough power to drive them.

I decided to try them with a little amplification tonight. Switch to the stock 3.5 cable hooked up to my Schiit Valhalla and ran from the line out on the X5. Somewhat amazing, these IEMs with a little amplification. Listening to John Zorn, Psychomagia. The tube amp works well with the C16.

It's not a race :)
Think I ordered about 2 weeks ago..
Starting to sound more like a restraint C16 than a AS10.

How’s the bass response? Does it leave you wanting more?

Only few minutes actual ear-time with A10 so far. With only 1 bellsing bass unit, I doubt the bass will hit hard or low. Though, the AS06 (with same BA) has a nice bass texture with decent amping. Am hoping that carries over to the A10. Will compare the A10 a bit more, later.

Always want to take your time with these iems. They sound quite different after they have been playing a while. At least the zs7 I have does. Can't wait for graph measurements as well.

Planning about 4 days of rest/play cycle for the A10. Have to give it a fair chance against months of optimized setups for both AS06 and C16. I will get into it more next week. @Assimilator702 might even beat me to a first A10 review! :)

While it might not be in depth and I don’t have a measurement rig I’ll report my initial overall impressions ASAP. It’s been 6 days since I ordered them. I’m really close to ordering a C16 since I realized I just don’t like the sound signature of my DM6.

That cable on the C16 is nice.

So the A10 has gotten to a few already but no one wants to speak about what it actually sounds like? The speculation is worthless guys let us know what it sounds like. I’m dying here......how do they sound?

About 30-40 hours in, it has a lean signature like C16. Mids slightly more forward and treble is harsh right now. A boosted mid-bass hump. Less upper-bass warmth than AS10. The A10's not very pleasant sounding to my ears right now. Give it a bit more time.
