Quick question for the group. How is the cable on the CCA C16? Is it good, or do I need to think about a replacement cable? If so, what do you recommend?

Has anyone compared the CCA C10 to the KZ ZS10 PRO? The impedance and the sensitivity are different on both so it’s possible they’re tuned a bit differently. I just got the ZS10 PRO and they’re damn good for the money but the CCA looks just as promising @ $36 which is $2 less than what I paid for the ZS10 PRO.

I you already had ZS10 pro dont bother to get C10, C10 wasn't that good, too much mid bass bleed, average soundstage etc. i think ZS10 pro just a little bit better overall and a bit similar sound signature with better bass (with their new double magnetic driver). Save your money for something better later.

idid the following experiments

shallow wide bores

found the following

Revonext Qt5 - sounds best with the CCA 10 dark brown cable

Revonext Qt2/ CCA C10 - sounds best with the red brown cable of the Qt5

KZ ZSN sounds better with the red brown cable of the Qt5 than dark brown cable

Ok thanks. At first glance it would seem they would be identical sounding but I know there are minor differences. I’ll just give my DMG and DM6 a bit more head time when I want a change of pace from the ZS10 PRO which are mighty impressive. I might grab a pair of ZSN PRO for gym use since I love the fit of this new KZ design. I have ES4 which was $19 but those tend to pop out and I have to constantly push them back in.

DM7 is the next one on my list.

There are absolutely better cables, even better cables within the price range I'd be willing be willing to go for, but I nabbed one myself as well. Just under the wire (harhar) for the sale, but I'd been wavering for a few days. Got no complaints about my C10's cable but my ZSN's cable is a lot prettier (I like the bare/burnished metal look in general and my ZSN is the purple color) so even though I seriously considered the ~8$ silver/copper one from KZ I decided since it was just vanity I'd save a few bucks (plus the purple ZSN's cable really is pretty, IMO). <-<
Not a cable-phile to tell any appreciable difference between the two (I went from one decent cheap cable to the other  ) but the cable I got from Greendio arrived and seems perfectly functional (and definitely nicer looking than the stock C10 cable IMO). Was briefly confused because the translucent plastic on the end pieces made it look almost like a C-style cable until I looked closer but s'all good.

well there are differences.... my post earlier i have written how they differ with all my IEMS

As long u have the following common cables

dark brown copper cable ( comes as default with many IEMS )
reddish brown cable
The TRN IEM black cables

should be fine.. u dont really need any of those (white) silver cables
