how does it compare to dx340? I heard about bigger soundstage wtih 340 which should be expected.

I am enjoying my n6III more with default board than e203 (a bit more fun sound from what I can hear).

I’m soon to pick up the E203, what does it do better than the Cirrus logic board generally?
The E203 is a bit more neutral, slightly softer treble, a little more natural sounding with vocals, and the staging is slightly wider.

Edit: The E203 also has more sub bass punch while the C201 has more mid bass presence.

Dear friends here is my Cayin N6iii Review for anyone interested. The sound impressions are for the C201 motherboard.

This is one of the best players you can buy not only because it sounds incredibly good with the C201 motherboard but because you can exchange motherboards and have extra fun with relatively low cost.

Headfi version will soon become available.

The first thing I normally do when reading your reviews is scrolling down to the classical music section. But... I guess the world will miss out this time and must focus on machine instead of music... 😪 Please be a good boy next time 😎

The reviews where getting too lengthy with many photos so I have decided to add a link of my playlist test tracks instead.

About 100 hours burn-in. C201 module. Vocals became much closer, right to my face. And mid bass- much weightier, hits stronger (sometimes it overshadows other frequencies ). The sound is a little bit fatiguing now.

Perfect burn-in timeline was somewhere between 50 hours.
My iems- Mega5est

It would be great if someone can offer good pair-ups with n6iii below 1000 usd.
