If pins get loosened over time, they are very easy to tighten up. It really is not a big thing at all. I have worked with tubes for over 50 years, in the military and then, obviously, after that in equipment going back to the 1920s and tightening tube sockets is normal and easy. I have Never found an issue with using socket savers.

I tried to find good quality tube savers.
I have never found good quality the pins are crooked sometimes corroded and loose I have given up on trying to find good tube savers. But I realized even though I have a lot of tubes. My tube sockets don't get changed that often and there's no problem

Most of the time it will never be a problem. The only issue has been for me with my tube testers, which I have changed out a few tube sockets on but they have been used for 1000s of tubes being pushed in and taken out of the socket.

I'd love tightening the 12au7 in my HA-6A but I think it's normal that they look loose

Just received my HA-6A today, so far beats the pants off anything I've had in the past when paired with the Atrium Open & Closed. Have some SE KT88s and GL 12AU7's on the the way, should arrive Monday.
