I finally broke down and bought the mini, due to Rio's lack of compatibility (firmware issues) with my powerbook...

Other than Apple's belt clip case and Speck Products "Clear Skin", are there any other cases out there that are designed for use with the ipod mini? I know vaja had some nice ones for the 3G ipod.

I'm assuming if there's nothing out right now, that there will be soon, with the ipod mini's popularity growing...

Don't buy ANYTHING from iSkin. They IGNORED all three of my emails I sent them. One of the peg broke on my belt-clip within two weeks and they didn't give me a single reply on possibility of replacement.

Notice how there is no mention of any warranty on their website. After they take your money they don't care about you.

EDIT: They don't even list their phone number on their website. Respectable companies doesn't do that. They don't want to hear from their customers.

http://www.lajo.biz is an excellent iPod case maker. The only problem is that his website sucks, but if you wade through it, there are tons of excellent cases. Also, his customer service is incredible, and if nothing else his forums are quite active. Lajo is highly active in the forums as well. Finally, there's a $5 coupon to sweeten the deal.

Actually Marware has a Mini version of the Sportsuit Sleeve. I have one, and it is much nicer in reality than the pictures. It has a snug fit which cushions the Mini, and a stretchy pocket in front that holds a pair of Ety's nicely. They have them in all the colors including black.

I'm currently at the Mac store right now and was able to take a look at the Sports Sleeve for the Mini Ipod, it is nice and looks like it fits nice and snug around the Mini. Worth giving it some consideration.

Does the Mini sleeve stretch wider? I have a Rio Eigen and its wider but shorter than the mini and i was wondering if you can fit the Eigen in the sportsuit case. I already have a Caselogic MPC1 case and it looks pretty boring compared to the mini sleeve IMO.

I suspect it won't fit. You could get the one for the full sized iPod though. They are the same price, and it might be a pretty good fit. The full size iPod is 4.1x2.4x.62.
